K - 7 Registration

2024-2025 Registration Grades K to 7
Deadline August 25

Please read the information below before registering, if you are looking to register an 8th grader or for the Confirmation Program, click here!

  • Classes begin on September 22, 2024, so registration closes August 25.  Please register and volunteer early - don't miss out!
  • We will once again offer classes around our Sunday Masses in the hopes that this makes it easier for you to worship together, as this is the heart of our faith.  Attendance at Mass is expected of all families.  The first Sunday of each month will be a "family Mass," to give opportunities for children and parents to participate in the liturgy.

Sundays:

            9:15 – 10:15 am at St. Catherine
            9:45 – 10:45 am at St. Anne

Mondays:

            4:15 – 5:15 pm at St. Catherine
            4:45 – 5:45 pm at St. Anne

  • Classes are one hour (no 15 minute session).
  • Instead of having the 15-minute family sessions before every class, there are four, one hour long family gatherings during class time (one parent required), where parents and children will have more time together to learn about a particular faith topic.
  • We will be offering the Parent Conversation sessions again this year, as a way to support you as parents, but also as a way for you to support each other.  Parents/guardians are required to attend two of the six sessions throughout the year (you pick which ones appeal to you!), but are welcome at any and all of the sessions.  We will also have 4 mandatory sacrament prep parent meetings.
  • We are piloting a family program for a limited number of families (please scroll down for more information).  We hope that this will be a way for families to share their faith in a different way.
  • Over the summer, we will be setting up times to sit down and chat with parents (15-20 min), to help us get to know everyone, and understand families' needs and situations better.  We will start with new families and sacrament prep families (please click on the link when you register), and then we will open it up to other families as we move along.
  • Please CLICK_HERE to review the Program Calendar before you register, and keep the family gathering and parent meeting dates in mind when you select your child's class time.
Parent involvement in the family activities and parent meetings is required and expected.

Families Forming Disciples Pilot Program

Would you like to give your child the best chance of continuing to practice their faith into adulthood?

Of course the answer to this question is "Yes!"  Parents' faith practices and family faith life have the biggest impact on whether children practice their faith as an adult.  The Church honors and recognizes parents as the first and best teachers of their children and knows that parents need support in this important role.

Fr. Peter and Fr. Joe have recognized through their decades of priesthood (90+ combined years!) at many different parishes that the traditional parish faith formation classes are not enough and therefore want to move toward family faith formation. This is an opportunity to regain precious time with your children, while learning more about our Catholic faith.

We will be piloting Families Forming Disciples (FFD) during the 2024-25 year.  Interested families would be grouped together in family groups of 4-6 families depending on the size of the family (one parent required).  This program meets at the same time as our regular program, and meets less often in-person, roughly twice a month.  (**Please note that the start date is one week earlier than the "regular" classes, and will begin on Sept 15/16.)  Each month is focused on a theme from the Church's liturgical year, and families are given a "Mission activity" to do at home one week of the month.

If you think this could be a good fit for your family, please let us know that you would like to be considered for the FFD pilot when you register (there is a checkbox for this on the registration form).  You will not automatically be signed up for this program; we will contact you to give you more information and answer any questions you might have.  Thank you!

It takes many volunteers to run our program.  Please consider helping our children and families have the best Faith Formation experience possible.  This program only runs if we have enough volunteers.  Please consider helping in any way you can!

There are many ways that you can help, as a teacher, co-teacher, classroom assistant, hall monitor, office help, and many more.  Please CLICK_HERE to see all the ways you can help, and thank you!
