St. Vincent De Paul

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul

The Mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is “a network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.” Volunteerism, therefore, is the heart of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and our work helping neighbors in need.

All are welcome. You do not need to be a parishioner of Blessed Trinity Parish or Catholic to receive the services listed below. Please know that all communication with our members is treated confidentially.

Our SVdP conferences serve those who have experienced difficulty due to illness, unemployment or other unexpected challenges. The SVdP conference volunteers provide a broad range of financial and other needed services during these challenging times, such as:

•   Providing food and needed household products
•   Paying of outstanding medical and dental bills
•   Making rent or mortgage payments
•   Paying heating, electric and insurance bills
•   Paying car repair bills
•   Help with home repairs/maintenance
•   Supporting the homeless in the search for housing
•   Supporting the local Food Pantries, which serve surrounding communities
•   Providing outreach to victims of natural disasters
